What's it like to seek therapy for trauma related to your racial identity?

Research background

This study run at the University of Bath, will explore the experiences of seeking psychological assessment and treatment for trauma related to your racial identity. Although current literature identifies the impact of racism on individuals, research is lacking on how racialised groups experience seeking psychological support in services. Trauma-informed care must understand and incorporate these experiences in order to increase treatment efficacy for marginalised groups. See details of the studybelow.
